Knitted garments deserve a little extra care. Gentle hand washing, careful drying and proper storage help preserve their shape, softness and beautiful texture.
8 simple care rules
A few gentle habits can help your dog’s knitwear stay soft, comfortable and beautiful for many adventures together.
Hand wash only
Wash gently by hand using cool or lukewarm water and a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics.
Recommended temperature: up to 30°C / 86°F.Do not twist or wring
Gently press out excess water. Twisting wet knitwear can stretch the fibers and change the garment’s shape.
Dry flat
Reshape the garment while damp and lay it flat on a clean towel away from direct heat.
Skip the tumble dryer
High heat and tumbling can shrink, stretch or damage delicate knitted fibers.
Avoid harsh products
Do not use bleach or aggressive stain removers. Choose a gentle detergent for delicate fabrics.
Store folded
Keep knitwear clean and completely dry, then store it folded rather than hanging.
No washing machine
Do not machine wash knitted garments. Even gentle or wool cycles may stretch, shrink or distort the knit.

Do not press a hot iron directly onto knitted fabric. Direct heat and pressure may flatten the texture or damage the fibers.
If needed, use gentle steam without touching the knit with the iron.
Wash with a gentle touch
Fill a clean basin with cool or lukewarm water and add a small amount of mild detergent.
Place the garment in the water and gently move it around without rubbing, scrubbing or stretching the knit.

Reshape & dry flat
After rinsing, gently press the garment between your hands to remove excess water. Do not twist or wring it.
