Three Measurements That Matter
Always measure your dog directly. Do not use the measurements of another sweater or garment.
Back Length
Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, following the center of the back.
Neck Girth
Measure around the base of the neck where the collar naturally sits.
Chest Girth
Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Chest Girth Matters Most
If your dog’s measurements fall into different sizes, choose the size that best matches the chest girth.

If your dog’s chest girth falls between two sizes, choose the larger size.
Check the Belly Length
Back length, neck girth and chest girth determine your dog’s main XS–XXL size.
Belly length is an additional check to make sure the garment has the right coverage underneath.
Male Dog
Shorter belly coverageThe garment should end before the genital area to help keep the underside clear and dry.
Female Dog
Longer belly coverageThe garment can extend farther toward the back legs while leaving enough room for comfortable movement.

Better Measurements, Better Fit
A few simple details can make your measurements much more accurate.
- Measure your dog while they are standing naturally.
- Keep the measuring tape close to the body without pulling it tight.
- For fluffy dogs, measure over the fur without compressing it.
- Measure your dog directly instead of measuring existing clothing.
- If your dog is still growing, allow a little extra room.
